I was spending my time in the doldrums..

strikingly imaginative and imagination-stretching. this image is so ambiguously epic: an emotion without direction. I almost want to write a story based on it, but I'm worried that a single interpretation would spoil it. The silhouette cast upon the umbrella whose shape and color so marvelously compliment the dark-enclosed sun is ingenius. The diagonals of the "city" on either sides of the figures pull with a force irresistible. Anyhow, it's clearly inspired as well as inspirational. Most importantly, this is unique and it works--those two are more than can be said about most. such a wide range of brilliant colors holding together as a whole so well without overwhelming is quite an achievement too.
